The Research Of Problems And Countermeasures In The Process Of Population Urbanization In Jilin Province

Urbanization must follow the laws of historical development in the process ofmodernization of a country or area, because of Chinese special situation of hugepopulation, urbanization has become the biggest potential release of domestic demand,the bonus of the urbanization will be the biggest engine of Chinese economic growthin the next5-10years, population urbanization is the priority among priorities in theprocess of urbanization, how to make peasant citizenization, how to serve the people ofurbanization is a major issue of current social economic development needs to bediscussed.It started early with high level in the population urbanization process of JilinProvince, but the growth rate of it is lower than the national, and has showed the lackof stamina. At present, there are many problems that industrial structure is notreasonable. Regional population urbanization development is imbalance, small townagglomeration effect is poor, and net population migration leads labor and personnelloss. Whether can deal with various problems or not is directly related to theSustainable and healthy development of social economy of Jilin Province.This paper reviews the course of development of population urbanization in Jilinprovince for more than60years since the founding of China, and analyses presentsituation and characteristics of population urbanization,on the base of the sixthpopulation census of Jilin province and Statistical yearbook data of Jilin Province.With the current data and the facts finding out the practical problems existing in thepopulation urbanization of Jilin Province, and analyses the reasons of problems, finally the paper suggests countermeasures of problems of population urbanization of JilinProvince.
