| Since the end of2010, the turmoil situation in the Middle East lead to regime change in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and also the west countries,which is called the "Arab spring". The virtual social network services that represented by Internet technology is not only a tool of communication, people usually regard is, it has become a fertile ground for political revolution, become an push to important public political events that emergencies, during this process. But, as we know, it isn’t the most developed area in the world, why is it so unique virtual social network services played the role in the Middle East area?This paper is divided into five chapters. The relationship between virtual social network services and contemporary political developments has been analysis in the first chapter. Firstly, we elaborate the theoretical basis of virtual social network services, its basic concept, main characteristics and transmission mode, then analyze the reality of the virtual social network services evolution. The second chapter expounds rises and developments of virtual social network services before the situation in Middle East area, it just has the effect of alternative basic communication and part of the political function at this moment. The third chapter analysis changes virtual social network had with the changes people used it, in the process of "Arab spring", its role is no longer confined to the basic role of network, but waterfalls, information series and moderate network call, etc. Virtual social network services become a means of politic, with its own characteristics and the integration of politics. The fourth chapter analysis the unique role in "Arab spring", virtual social network services has played, contrasting with the US election. In China, the virtual social network service is under development and meeting a dilemma, we try to find out some enlightenment, put forward reasonable suggestions and advices from its changes in "Arab spring" at the end of this article. |
