The main purpose of this dissertation is to understand the current mental healthsituation of primary school teachers, and to build the psychological assistance path byusing the EAP as the basic model. Based on the collected information, this study usesthe questionnaires of one to one interviewing. With in depth of analyzing of thestatistics, the mental health of the teachers have become an obvious matter. Accordingto the statistics, the current situation of primary teachers’ mental health are discovered.These matters include:(1)there are many types of psychological health problems withthe primary teachers.(2) the existence of gender difference in occupational sense ofbelongings and career; the younger teachers who held the undergraduate diploma orhigher have a better ability of adapting environment and keeping sustainabledevelopment.(3) The EAP framework are designed for the teachers’ support projectwhich can be started from institutionalizing the program from within the schoolmanagement system, professional skills, building EAP group; carry out exchanges ofideas stressful events, the ability to deal with training of the individual events, and theconcept of dealing with the time pressure. On this basis, this text analyzed of thereasons behind the psychological problems of the teachers. The working together fromsociety, school, families will establish the feasibility and necessity of model-based EAPpsychological assistance system, and describes the contents of psychological assistancesystem.
