General High School Curriculum Program (experimental) clearly puts forward:"the general high school is the basis of public education which further improve the national quality based on the nine-year compulsory education." Transforming from elite education to public education is the nature of the high school curriculum. This transformation means high school course is no longer a service for a small number of elite, but a promotion to the development and success of all students. As a14-year teacher, the author came across with a lot of problem students in teaching career. Compared with students at the same age, problem students have prominent troubles in their learning, behaving, mental and moral values. If not promptly corrected, their improper behaviors will have bad effects on their physical and mental health, and also disturb the school regulations. The study is of important value to the transformation of problem students, which benefits their physical and mental health and comprehensive development.The study adopts the methods of questionnaire investigation and interview method to carry on the questionnaire survey and interviews towards Yulin XX senior high school students. It discusses the specific problems of students, analyzes the causes of the problems, and puts forward the effective strategy of transformation problem. Including the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts.The first part is introduction, which mainly elaborates the reasons of selection, the purpose and significance of the research, and also defines the concept of problem students, put forwards the theoretical basis of the topic and explains the research methods and ideas. The second part investigates the present situation of the problem students. The author carried on the questionnaire survey to Yulin XX senior high school students in the aspects of family, learning, behavior, and mental, and gives a detailed analysis of the results of the survey. Finally this part analyzes the concrete performances of problem students in learning, behavior, and mental.The third part mainly discusses the cause of the problems above. The author thinks that it is the result of combination of many factors, including:family, school and society and the student’s own reasons.The fourth part mainly talks about the specific educational strategies of transformation of high school problem students. Parents should create a good family environment for children, to improve their own quality, learn to evaluate and educate their children in the right way. Schools should adopt multiple evaluation methods, improve the quality of teachers. Teachers should change the concept of education, improve educational methods establish good relationship between teachers and students. The society should make good use of the positive factors in the medium, to create good social environment for students. Students should establish correct learning motivation, develop good study habits, improve the willpower and self-control and enhance self-confidence.
