The culture is the important force to promote the progress of human society and a powerful motive force to enhance national competitiveness.On the surface,it seems that competitions focus on the political and economic among different nations,but in fact,the real competitions is embodied in the different cultures by these nations. With the rapid development of social culture, the social position of culture has become more important in the field of economy, politics, etc,for achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the primary task is to enhance the competitiveness of our culture effectively and the most effective way is to deepen the reform of education,developing education in order to adapt to the new era’s requirements,to keep cultural construction and reform unswervingly. Undoubtedly,deepening education reform must rely on the support and practice by front-line teachers, but the idea of "based on students" education reform ignored the teachers’subject status relatively, main body of student culture as the focus of research and teacher culture hasn’t be treated fairly, this is a sign of imbalance in the academic research, and would go against the implementation of education reform ideas. This paper was based on reflection on the above problem and determine the direction of the research gradually, try to reveale the survival status of secondary teacher from a new perspective on the teacher’s office culture, to find out problems and approaches.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction, it includes five aspects:the first one is about the origin of study.The second one is literature review, analysising previous researchs about the teacher’s office culture and cultural construction, to points out the previous research achievements and the insufficiency, determines the basic point of this research.Then the third one is the theoretical basis of research, respectively discusses the humanistic theory and the theory of cultural capital.The Fouth is the research significance, expounding the cultural construction of secondary teachers office significance from two aspects of theory and practice.The last one is to introduce the main research methods of this research.The second part is about the teachers’office culture as part of the construction of campus culture system, through the comparation between the campus culture and the teacher’s office culture, and summarizes the specific function of the teacher office culture including the cultivate function, cohesive function, incentive function and management function.The part three and part four are the key content of this paper.In the third part, the reseacher made a survey about three middle school:Y middle school,B middle school and D middle school in the southeast area of hubei, introduced the overall construction of the teacher’s office in material culture, spiritual culture and institutional culture in three aspects.the material culture is discussed from three aspects,such as the work environment, office facilities and function division. These indicators can reflect the teachers office material environment construction.The spiritual cultural is more complex,this paper focus on the impact of teacher professional development from mental space, interpersonal relationship and civilized atmosphere and discourse power to reveal spiritual culture construction. Institutional culture is an important part of culture,this paper discussd the question by the extent of familiarity of the teacher’s office management system, the sense of identity in the office management system and the actual function of management system. The fourth part analyses the current middle school teacher’s office common problems in the cultural construction:attaching great importance to the construction of material culture, despising spiritual cultural construction.Don’t contact practical situation to copy other culture construction mode, ignore the school-based characteristics.The teacher’s office culture construction is lack of foundation, the allocation of resources is not balanced. Most of teachers are lack of consciousness of culture construction. The teacher’s office culture construction hasn’t Set up perfect guarantee system.According to these practical problems,this paper analysis some reasons.The fifth part mainly summarized some ideas and principles in the secondary teacher’s office culture reconstruction.These ideas and principles comes from the new curriculum reform, combining curriculum values, ecological view, course concept to sum up the ideas of new curriculum including open and interactive, democracy and equality, individuality.How to reconstruct the secondary teacher’s office culture with the guidance of new curriculum reform? Firstly,more reaserchers and constructors must pay more attention and guidance to the construction of the teachers’office culture, strengthen the basic understanding of cultural construction, know the teacher’s office due status of cultural construction exactly.To carry out the responsibility and establish a mechanism for the culture construction of teacher’s office.secondly, the mission of development and integration is to pay attention to both material culture and spiritual culture in the actual process of cultural construction, to attach great importance to develop the teacher’s office material culture basic status and influences, to establish the leading position that the construction of spiritual culture and educational value.Thirdly,on the basis of the cultural inheritance and innovation,dealing with the relationship between the general culture and individual culture,respecting the general culture under the premise of promoting development of characteristic culture, to form the characteristics of the teacher’s office culture.According to this paper, it seems that the research is about the secondary teachers’s office culture construction present-situation, problems and method in the southeast area of Hubei, but in fact, on the other hand,it also reflected the teacher’s office culture construction on the basic education stage schools. We hope this study can provide some reference value to them.
