The conception’self-efficacy’ was put forward in1977by Bandura,the famous American psychologist.Since then,the number of researchers has improved this theory to test the application of different areas.The purpose of those researchers is to measure the level of self-efficacy of different groups or to testify the theory of self-efficacy whether fit for the various field. Fundamentally speaking, self-efficacy reflects the individual perception and belief for controlling of diffierent aspects as its own life.The research used the self-efficacy theory to explore whether its fit for the community educators.By the early interviews and reports reading,the reseachers formed an initially self-efficacy questionnaire and formed an initial dimension of self-efficacy of community educators.After the latter part of the questionnaire distribution, recycling and related statistics analysis, the researchers found that self-efficacy of community educators can be divided into three dimensions:self-identity self-efficacy, professional identity self-efficacy and work ability self-efficacy. In addition, the study also found that community educators has significant differences in the level of self-efficacy,there are two different factors reflect the self-efficacy of community educators, age and word titles. After processing of statistical data, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire have reached a good level. Three dimensions using factor analysis in this study was constructed through the analysis has reached a good level of reliability and validity.The research showed that community educators has obvious differences at the level of self-efficacy;(2)different gender has little effect on the level of self-efficacy of community educators;(3)different ages has a clear effect on the level of self-efficacy of community educators,the group who are between31-40years old has the highest level compared with other groups;(4)marital status has little effect on the level of self-efficacy of community educators;(5) intermediate grade of community educators has the highest self-efficacy,and the high title of community educators has the lowest levels of self-efficacy;(6)work experience has little effect on the level of self-efficacy of community educators.
