Occupational value is value which people show in occupation seletion and projection on desired occupation. It is a stable attitude and brief system, also an inner orientation in occupational seletion. It is the employee's experience and feeling in long social working process, which influence students' occupational value dimension. It belongs to the definition of personality and is generalized more easily than attitude.We should focus on multiple psychological structure. Our study bases on the fact that manufacturing is facing the gap of mechanic. By using exploratory factor analysis, we can study mechanic students' mutiple psychological structure, build a questionnaire which measure occupational value of mechanic student, explore the relation between occupational and other varibles, explore their desired occupation, and explore their orientation on social science. To improve devotion and achievement on study, to take effective measures improving vocational education, , to train professional mechanic with mature occupational value is our target. The study has a essential influence on the mechanic talent pool.The results indicate as follows:Build a questionnair with high reliability and fair validity based on the mechanic student. The research found that the mechanic students' occupational values are constructed by six dimensions:safe, occupational reputation, comfort, creativity, develop, infelt achievement. The result show Chinese social culture characteristic and realistic educational meaning. The difference in two factors: occupational reputation and comfort, that is significant Students between high department and middle department. There are no significant difference in all factors.The Varible, autonomy for studying, has significant relationship with 4 factors:safe,creativity,develop, infelt achievement. By regression analysis, we found that creativity development and infelt achievement's standard beta coefficnet are significant. The factor can predict autonomy for studying .mechanic students have a trend of industry-commerce and technology. Family ranks first in affective sources' analysis, teacher ranks the last place. Differences in all dimensions have no significance when classfied students in two groups by selecting social science. Our study on occupational value has realistic guiding meanings on occupational psychology, education and career planning.
