The gigantic New Curriculum Reform is being conducted in China now, which is marked by inquiry-based learning and focuses on how to develop students’ability of raising questions. How to cultivate students’consciousness of question and improve their ability of raising questions has become a problem worth teachers’thinking and researching.The method adopted in this research is called educational narrative research. The research is completed through a seven-month application and practice of question chain of Guided Learning Plan in my advanced class of senior one, through listening to students’discussing in class and understanding the feelings of students and teachers. By using the technique of characterization, we make detailed depiction of many stories about physics, including "Speed concepts change in the flying thought","The error-prone points of speed image and difficult points of friction force break through in the flying thought","Inquiry ability is developed in the flying thought""Knowledge Network is constructed in the flying thought","The task of Horizontal Projectile Motion is introduced in the flying thought","Happiness dances in the flying thought","Success is achieved in the flying thought" and so on. Furthermore, the feelings of students and teachers and the researcher’s teaching reflections are involved in the research. What’s more, in the research, we focus on the students’interest in learning, their attitude towards learning, their awareness of questions and their ability of raising questions. With overall reflections on the teaching model of question chain of Guided Learning Plan, we fully understand what the essence of education is and come to further conclusion about it.Based on the application and practice of question chain of Guided Learning Plan, the research shows that the teaching model of question chain of Guided Learning Plan can make students fully understand the process of knowledge construction, develop their ability of raising questions, arouse their strong interest in learning physics as well as make the class atmosphere more harmonious. With reflections on the whole practice course, we are fully aware that if we want to develop students’awareness of questions and improve their ability of raising questions, we must have such mentality in our teaching that scores are not the most important and we should learn to let students do the tasks on their own as well as learn to feel students with our mind.
