With the rapid development of the Internet, more and more people lead a life of Internet. It is estimated that the number of Chinese netizens has reached591million in2013, of which the number of cell phone netizens has reached420million. The resource of the Internet features freshness,abundance and quick renewal, which has a great influence on every netizen. The age of globalization and information has change our lifestyle, as well as the style of behavior, belief and thinking. Most of of netizens are middle and elementary school students, whose learning styles have been affected by network teaching and BBS. Besides, their interest has been greatly motivated. As instructors, teachers are supposed to have a good knowledge of network learning. Nowadays, a number of people study how to tach by network while there are less people make use of the network to help students make up their study. This essay aims to reveal what effects network has on the biology class of senior high school, as well as high school students.This research mainly adopts method of investigation with questionnaire and comparison. By designing questionnaire on students’after-school class, the first-half research aims to learn about how students surf the Internet, how often and why they surf, as well as their attitude to the Internet and network teaching. In addition, the research also deal with some difficulties and some cautions about surfing the Internet. The findings show that schools provide adequate conditions to teach students by network. The latter research is designed to learn about the change of students’participation in the network teaching, including their interest in study, their relationship with teachers, belief and self-learning style, students’response and expectation to QQ, which is a means of communication between students and teachers. At the same time, the research compare two common classes, Class9and class11, in the same grade. Class9adopts the traditional teaching while Class11adopts network teaching.The research shows, there is an increase in students’using the QQ, a kind of communication means. The more and more harmonious relationship between teachers and students is obvious to see after teachers help students solve problems, take advantage of QQ to display related knowledge, download appropriate information for them. Their interaction is perfect. The majority of students develop great interest in biology study. For students, they hold a more positive and active attitude towards study. Judging from students’performance, the match between Class9and Class11is a tie(41.6point) in the first half research while in the second half one, the average marks in Class11is higher than that in Class9, the former is41.37while the latter is38.43. For those slow learners, this method in more likely to arouse their interest.This research adventurously turns the interaction among QQ into the interaction between teachers and students. It also compares the dairy, album and shared document of QQ to the blackboard of biology class. By the means of the practice of network teaching, analyzing the data of survey and students’performance, we can draw a conclusion:firstly, this method arouse students’interest and motivation; secondly, it can promote the relationship between teachers and students; thirdly, it can change students’belief and learning style; fourthly, improve students’ performance in exams; finally, it can change teacher’s mind and make teaching methods various. Of course, this research is only the very beginning because it should be a continuous process for students to follow the network teaching to make up their study. The findings from this research provide reference for other researches on how to deal with practice and theory of making up their study.
