In the process of mathematics learning, grade-10school students making errors is inevitable. This phenomenon is reflected on high student, especially on the grade-10students. It is a kind of valuable learning resources if the errors be used properly. The errors reflect the difficulties that the students encountered in their learning process and the knowledge points that the students do not grasp fully. It is also a kind of information feedback to the students themselves’ knowledge cognition. However, in the error management, the students have many problems which took attention of the education teaching experts and the frontier teachers. Therefore, research on error management in mathematics among grade-10students has practical significance. At first, it can make teachers accomplish know fairly well. The research can help teachers to make it clear that the students’ attitude towards the error management. The teachers can strengthen the consciousness and training of the error management in the daily teaching process to improve their teaching efficiency. At the same time, the students can recognize the importance of the error management to mathematics learning clearly. They learnt to knowledge transfer in the error management to avoid making repeat mistakes, and improved their learning efficiency through adjust their way of thinking.In this paper, the investigation and research on error management in mathematics among grade-10students in Nanning2middle school (model senior high school) and Nanning4middle school (non-model senior high school) is based on questionnaire and interview method. In the questionnaire investigation and study, the draft and finalized of grade-10students mathematics error management questionnaire is based on Liu Rude’s middle school students’ error management strategy questionnaire, Central China Normal University Zhou wan’s the wrong topic management in high school mathematics learning situation questionnaire and Nanjing Normal University Sun Guizhen’s metacognition, wrong topic management questionnaire. The main content of the investigation includes four dimensions. They are error management idea, the error management attitude, error management behavior and error management strategy. Choosing typical student in math to interviews, the research refer their error books to case sampling analysis. The study uses477grade-10students as sample, and probes into the status quo of grade-10student error management in mathematics through the SPSS statistical software, and analyzes the relationship between the error management level and mathematics result.The following results are obtained through the investigation:1. Grade-10student error management exist significant differences in gender, source and study level. The Grade-10student in the error management idea dimension exist significant gender differences. Girls scored higher than boys. The Grade-10student in the error management strategy dimension exist significant source differences. On the error management strategy dimension, model senior high school students scored considerably higher than non-model senior high school students. 2. Different learning levels grade-10student exist significant differences in total score. The top students is significantly higher than junior raw. On the error management behavior and the error management strategy, top students and medium have significant difference. The difference between top students and underachievers in addition to no significant on the wrong topic management concepts, on the other three dimensions are reached the significant level. In the total score and each dimension, there was no significant difference between medium and junior embrace.3. The high student (both boys and girls) wrong topic management on the total score and each dimension and mathematics performance significantly the positive correlation. It shows that in the process of grade-10student mathematics study the error management effectively can make students realize the value of the error more deeply, to further improve the students’ academic performance. Model senior high school students in error management behavior and strategy two dimensions exists significant positive correlation between the grades, in the perception and attitude two dimensions also exist related, but not significant. The opposite of non-model senior high school students.At the end of the article, based on the findings and conclusions of this study, the author summarizes the deficiency of the study and prospects, and gives some enlightenment to Nanning high school education.
