National Basic Education Curriculum Reform Guidelines has been carrying on for13years, since its promulgation and experiment in China. Developing reasonably and utilizing curriculum resources effectively, more and better, was central to curricular reform-carrying out and practice renewing, without which our teaching practice will stray from the original reform purpose, because the degree of excellence in curriculum resources is the key to the result and quality in teaching and learning. Curriculum resource means the elemental resources, as well as the base and content, forming the subject. In high school, the geography curriculum resource is so rich in connotation and denotationSince2001, in China, bilingual teaching concept, suitable to basic education stages and general universities curriculum, has been proposed, which has been tried in class teaching, with remarkable achievement. On the very base above, this essay will study and research approaches and the meaning of bilingual curriculum developing, focusing on bilingual curriculum resource, with the geography curriculum teaching field as research target.The detailed description will be firstly given in this study including the present state of the domestic and foreign research, meaning, goal, approaches and technical access etc. And then, the present situation of the bilingual curriculum resource developing and utilizing will be stated in this study, by researching and studying in our school. The geography curriculum, textbook No.2, Hunan Education Press, will be chosen as the research target in this study, exploring new approaches by trying as follows,1) Original edition text of geography curriculum2) The elective part of bilingual content in geography curriculum, HEP.3) Bilingual text material compiling, using and studying for one year, then comparing the differences and analyzing the results between experiment class and reference class through their interest and test, concluding the practice significances in bilingual curriculum resource developing.
