In the context of rapid social change in China today, this paper is concerned withexploring an appropriate path which can lead a firm to achieve a specificmanagement-style with the characteristics of the Chinese enterprises under thebackground of the business management and organization diversities. In this paper, wetry to remind the leader of the Chinese enterprises to gradually realize the importance ofthe leadership-style, through the study of leadership theory. At present, domestic andforeign scholars have been gradually transferred research priorities from the‘Paternalistic Leadership’ to the ‘brother leadership’ style. Compared to the traditional‘Paternalistic Leadership’, the research of the ‘brother leadership’ emphasizes theimpact on the leadership-style derived from team identity and team citizenship. Sincethe ‘brother leadership’ style is unique to China, the empirical research has a greatsignificance, which has a target to verify the effectiveness of influence passed by teamidentity and team citizenship behavior on to the selection of the leadership-style.Combined with the study of the Leadership theory, Sociology, Psychology, thispaper has tried to complete and make a detailed analysis on the concept of brotherleadership style, starting from the analysis of the ‘team identity’ and ‘team citizenshipbehavior’. After that, a preliminary research and a further exploration of theclarifications and effectiveness to the ‘brother leadership’ have been taken in this paper.The final goal of this paper is to help the enterprise leaders to acquire the ability ofmastering and using the ‘brother leadership’ in a flexible way in their businessmanagements.In this paper, the research method is a combination with the questionnaires studyand the depth interviews. A total of800questionnaires have been issued, and713ofthem were received. The ratio of the valid questionnaires is90.8%. Factor analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis have been used in this paperto make the data analysis to test the study assumptions. Subsequently, depth interviewsamong6different people with three groups (professional teams, semi-professionalteams and amateur teams) have been taken.Through a series of theoretical analysis and quantitative empirical research, wedraw the following conclusions: 1) The dimension of establishing ethics (树德维度) in ‘brother leadership’ has apositive impact on team identification for all the professional teams, semi-professionalteams and amateur teams. The dimension of establishing ethics (树德维度) has apositive impact on team citizenship behavior for professional teams. The effect on teamcitizenship behavior in semi-professional teams and amateur teams was not significant.2) The dimension of establishing charming(立魅维度) in ‘brother leadership’ has apositive impact on team identity for the professional team. For the semi-professionalteams and amateur teams, the positive impact on team identity is not significant. Thedimension of establishing charming(立魅维度) has a positive impact on the teamcitizenship behavior for the semi-professional team. For the professional teams andamateur teams, the positive effect on team citizenship behavior is not significant.3) The affinity dimension(亲'力维度) of the ‘brother leadership’ has a positiveimpact on the team identity for the semi-professional team. For the professional teamsand amateur teams, the positive impact on the team identity is not significant. Theaffinity dimension(亲'力维度) of the ‘brother leadership’ has a positive impact onthe team citizenship behavior for the professional teams and the amateur teams. For thesemi-professional team, the positive impact on the team citizenship behavior is notsignificant.4) The positive impact of desire dimension(发愿维度) on team identity is notsignificant among the professional teams, semi-professional teams and amateur teams.The desire dimension (发愿维度) of the ‘brother leadership’ has a positive impact onteam citizenship behavior for the professional teams and the amateur teams. Thepositive effect on team citizenship behavior for semi-professional teams is notsignificant.
