In recent years, researchers and managers have given much attention to the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (Abbr.OCB) and team effectiveness and team performance. Team citizenship behavior(Abbr.TCB) is a concept deriving from OCB,and it measures the citizenship behaviors under the team level.The existing research reveals that TCB has its particular dimensions and effects, but few domestic researchers have noticed the differences. These years, with the rising heat of OCB research, more and more researchers has taken TCB for further study and exploration.With the accelerated process of economic globalization, enterprises are facing increasingly fierce and diversified competition. More and more companies realize that only through increasing the capacity of independent innovation, the technological content of products, and the added value of products can it enhance their strength, and therefore gain long-term development. Today, most of the enterprises carry out technical and R&D projects through team wok, and the task performance of technical and R&D teams have affected the performance of an enterprise's overall R&D and innovation capabilities to a large content.On the basis of the theoretical background above and the practical significance, this dissertation have mainly studyed the relationship between TCB and TTP, chosing team psychological safety as an intermediary variable.In this dissertation, we have taken the use of empirical research method. We start with the review of abundant literature about OCB, TCB, team effectiveness, team task performance(Abbr.TTP) and team psychological safety(Abbr.TPS). On the basis of theoretical analysis and work practice, this dissertation brings forward the model and hypotheses of empirical research.Then we conducted investigation by questionnaires to collect data from practice. The first hand data is collected by a survey and all the samples are selected from technical and R&D teams form enterprises located in Zhejiang province. The result of questionnaire investigation is analyzed with SPSS 13.0.According to the result of investigation and data analysis, several research conclusions are drawn, research model and hypotheses are adjusted. Here are the main conclusions: TCB have six dimensions, they are altruism, civic virtue, conscientiousness, courtesy, team work, team mindedness; team task performance have two dimensions, they are innovation performance and plan implementation performance; TCB has significantly positive effect on TTP; TCB has significantly positive effect on TPS; TPS has significantly positive effect on TTP; TPS has significantly positive effect on team innovation performance; TPS partly mediates between TCB and TTP; TPS partly mediates between TCB and team innovation performance; and TPS doesn't mediate between TCB and team plan implementation performance.From summarizing these findings, the dissertation has analysed the practical significance and the application value, and have given some suggestions for the practical management of technical and R&D teams' TCB, team psychological safety and team task performance; pointed out the limitation of this research from the aspects of sample selection, questionnaires,statistic method and the research model and hypotheses; at last discussed the future research direction.
