Since the second half of the year2010, the United States adopted the strategy of Returning to Asia‐Pacific with some notable military movements. But a more inconspicuous yet by no means insignificant fact was that since the year2009, the United States had already started its Returning pace by the use of economic instruments, including its export doubling plan. The whole picture of the US Returning program covers economy, politics, security and military affairs, among which the economic part has been attached with great importance. It plays a key role in the US Returning program, serving for the goal of reviving the national economy and safeguarding its global leadership.Against the backdrop of the world’s political and economical situation in the post‐financial crisis stage, this article is intended to brief on the reasons of the US Returning program and probe into how its main economic measures such as the exports doubling plan, the new‐energy strategy, the treasury sales program, the Trans‐pacific Partnership (TPP) as well as the US‐Korea FTA have played their role in the strategy, thus help to vindicate its challenged hegemonic interests. In addition, the impacts on the world’s economic pattern brought by the US Returning program will be analyzed and the corresponding strategies that should be taken by the Chinese government will be proposed in the latter part of the article. The writer has tried to interpret the economic elements included in the Returning program from a view of global economics, hoping that the rigorous thinking will help to reveal the intrinsic logicality of the economic measures taken by the US government and thus understand its influences upon the world’s economic pattern.
