In recent years, the construction of the integrated transport hub has become an importantaspect of China’s urban and regional development process. In the era of economic globalizationand regional integration, although the communications technology continues to progress, theface-to-face communication is still very important.The communication between city to city, regionto region and country to country increase closely.And the integrated transport system called the“carrier area Hing "became the theme of the times. As a regional internal components and theirstructural relationship of the external manifestations,the spatial form of the region of thetransportation effects can be described as critical.Transport hub construction is the main content of the integrated transport hub, it also affectsthe evolution of regional spatial structure as the key factors. Today, China is in the accelerationphase of the development of urbanization, the large infrastructure projects such as airports,high-speed rail, ports, highways become a concentrated expression of the development.The hubconstruction involved a large number of projects and many levels.On the one hand, the economicdevelopment of the hub area will be a positive role, on the other hand,it also will affect theevolution of the spatial structure of urban and regional.The study of the influence of theComprehensive transportation hub for the region and the pursuit of sustainable development ofregional spatial structure are significance for the development of the region and theforward-looking planning.This paper sets The Sichuan Province as the main study area, the construction of integratedtransport hub in Sichuan Province as the research object and the large hub construction of regionals spatial effects as the main line and the starting point.Taking into account the differences betweendifferent types of transport facilities,this paper will explore the regional spatial structure inSichuan Province from the four aspects of the air harbor system, railway hub, the motorwaynetwork and inland shipping port.Through a comprehensive analysis of the affecting of theevolution of regional spatial structure, the integrated transport hub,is proved that is driving thespatial structure of Sichuan Province toward the multi-center level network spatial pattern. Thispaper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is an introduction which introduces thebackground,significance,methods, main content and framework of this research. The second chapter introduces the theory for the construction of integrated transport hub at home and abroad.The third chapter describes the power of the integrated transport hub macro background and driveshub construction boom from the perspectives of economic globalization, regional integration andthe development needs of the local power. The fourth chapter gives the theoretical framework ofthis paper,and analysis the influence of integrated transport hub for regional space from improvingthe reachability of the region, improving the economic structure, promoting the evolution ofregional spatial structure and remodeling regional function. The chapter5analysis integratedtransport hub in the process of The Sichuan Province, summing up the role played by theintegrated transport hub in the formation of regional multi-center network pattern. Finally, on thebasis of the previous analysis to draw conclusions and discuss the problems in the process ofChina’s integrated transport hub.
