Study On The Influencing Factors Of Hebei’s Tourism Economic Growth

In recent years, tourism achieves a rapid and sustainable development in HebeiProvince. The tourism industry structure has been optimized and the social and economicrole of tourism has been improved. However, because of some factors, such as theimperfect human resources system, the lagging tourism service facilities etc, thedevelopment of tourism industry has been limited. Therefore, a correct understanding ofthe various factors that influencing the development of tourism in Hebei has become a toppriority. This paper describes the present situation of Hebei Tourism economic growth, andanalyzes the impacts of selected indicators using improved gray correlation model. On thisbasis, the paper looks forward to find the focus of tourism development in Hebei Province,and put forward some countermeasures combining with the actual situation of HebeiProvince to promote the effective development of tourism. According to the researchcontent, literature analysis and gray relational analysis method are used.Firstly, research background, significance, methods, contents, domestic and foreignresearch status are discussed. And the overview of concepts and basic theory providestheoretical guidance for the other parts.Secondly, based on the data of the2000-2011tourism development in Hebei Province,it analyzes the present situation of Hebei Tourism economic growth through the growthrate of tourism revenue, tourism revenues increased stability and sustainability etc.Thirdly, based on the theory of economic growth, it selects10indicators as thesystem of the Hebei Tourism economic growth influencing factors. And then it analyzesthe associated degree between the various factors and the total tourism revenue using theimproved gray correlation degree model, moreover draws the size and direction of factors’impacts.Finally, according to the results of analyzing Hebei Tourism economic growth factors,it proposes countermeasures to promote the development of tourism economy from sixaspects, namely a correct understanding of the relationship between the tourism economyand regional economic development, strengthening tourism human resources development, speeding up the construction of tourist transport facilities, developing tourist hotelsreasonably, optimizing travel agency structure and strengthening tourism informatizationconstruction.
