Study On Tourism Planning Of Recreational Tourism Small Town In Southern Jiangsu Province

With the improvement of the level of economic development constantly, leisure vacation hasbeen the tendency of tourism development in our country. Currently, small town tourism has beenchanging from simplex tour model to sightseeing, relaxation, vacation, personal experience andother models in southern regions of Jiangsu province. In academia, researches of small townfocus on tourism resources oriented town, lacking of the study of leisure small towns.This paper takes recreational tourism small town in southern Jiangsu province as theresearch object. This article aims to conclude some optimized strategies for the tourism planningof recreational tourism small town in southern Jiangsu province, combing with the typical casesof tourism planning of it in domestic and overseas, aiming at the problem existed in the access ofdevelopment. In addition, the paper also discusses the methods of tourism planning for leisurevacation type of small town, building systematic planning for it. The article takes Taihua townfor instance as empirical study. The main findings are shown as follows:(1) Reframe the recreational tourism resources and form the recreational tourism resourcesclassification table;(2) According to the different characteristics of recreational tourism small town in southernJiangsu province,make a study of classification, respectively from the tourism resourcecharacteristic, regional distribution, tourism products and developing stage. Andproposed optimization strategies for different types of small towns.(3) Setting up tourism planning method system of recreational tourism small town. This system includes: the small towns researching stage, planning and analysis stage, goaldetermining stage, small towns tourism planning stage and evaluation stage.This papermakes the detailed elaboration of planning work,including recreational developmentcondition analysis of small towns, recreational tourism market analysis, vacationingtourism development strategies of small towns, tourism image promotions andmarketing of small towns, functional area planning of small towns, tourism productdesign of small towns.
