A Study Of Impact Of Rural Tourism On Rural Economy

After had finished urbanization process, the western developed countries faced the problem that large-scale rural labor migrated into cities which might lead to the decay of rural economy. Since1960s, the government started to encourage people to develop and revitalize rural economy. Scholars once pinned their hopes on rural tourism, focusing on the positive impact of rural tourism on the local economy. With the further study, scholars started to consider the impact of tourism on rural economy rationally. Taking Qinchuan Village of Chun’an Country, Zhejiang Province as the research subject, the thesis probes into the impact of tourism on rural economy and some related constraints.The thesis divides the reason of the constraints on local economy into two parts: issues of tourism development and issues of profits allocation, and proposes the relevant research assumption. The author collects the relevant data through sending many questionnaires and making many interviews to tourists and locals, what’s more, the author also gets the research results from Chun’an Tourism Add mission, tourism companies, local government and village committee, then applies SPSS18.0to analyze the sampled data, and tests the research assumption, finally comes into the conclusion that there are many restricting factors in the tourism development of Sichuan Village. The tourism of Qinchuan Village doesn’t meet the needs of the tourists and local people; it also leads the willingness of the visitors inadequately. What is worse, its profit allocation is inequitable. The thesis finally offers some corresponding solutions to those problems. In the last part, some problems and limitations in the research and research prospects are presented.
