With the modernized development of China’s automobile industry and competition aggravation in the market, the automobile sales market has been transferred from seller’s market to buyer’s market. The automobile manufacturers must meet the customer’s demand to the maximum extent and adopt maximum value for customers as the focus--herefore, large-scale and ordered production model comes into existence. At present, various automobile manufacturers have organized manufacturing according to the production mode of "diversified products and small batches". It is an inevitable tendency in the business operation of automobile manufacturers. Given the particularity of heavy-duty automobile users and utilization conditions, the demand for large-scale and ordered manufacturing is particularly outstanding.This article has made a demand analysis for the users, divided user’s demand in detail, made use of existing tools and methods to establish user’s demand model and transferred user’s demand into automobile functional modules; on the other hand, it has established a technical platform for overall automobile and set up technical modules with particular functions on the technical platform; encoded and designed the technical module, corresponded with particular functions and added codes of technical modules into the product ordering and sales system. It is able to implement collocation and re-organization according to user’s various combinations, construct an interactive interface towards the users, enable the users to participate in the modified design of ordered automobile, thus greatly upgrade the manufacturing cycle of modified automobile, upgrade the production efficiency, create maximum selection power for the users and meet the user’s individualized product demand to the maximum extent.Besides, it has launched out rather deep research into the user’s demand analysis and product platform planning.On the basis of previous theoretical analysis and test research, this article has raised a set of encoding regulations of product functional modules and functional identification standard of collocation modules.
