Island County Tourism Resources Development Potential Evaluation And Island Tourism Resources Integration

The phenomenon that developing tourism resources unreasonably and using the island resources disorderly has been restricting the development of the island economy seriously. The restriction becomes more and more obvious with the gradual further development of the tourism which regarded as the pillar industry of the island economy. Therefore, it has an important realistic meaning on the study of potential evaluation system development and the resource integration development of island tourism.As a basic guiding thought of the sustainable development, we made a detailed analysis on the feature of island tourism resources combined with resource economics and bearing capacity theory. By establishing the tourism resources potential evaluation system which highlighting its unique characteristics, the study accessed the potential tourism resources development of the twelve islands in our country scientifically. At the same time, the author put forward some constructive opinion about the further integration of the island tourism resources. Main results and conclusions are:1. The first part stated the background and the potential development evaluation meaning on island county tourism resources, and a detailed description of the domestic and foreign island tourism resources development process and status quo was stated firstly. We came up to the conclusion that the study on potential evaluation of the island tourism resources has its theoretical and realistic significance. Then we put forward the method and framework of this paper.2. The second part introduced island tourism resources evaluation of domestic and foreign research progress, and set forth the content means, method means and technical means of evaluation separately which came up with the scholars from different domain in this field.3. The third part explained some related concepts of island tourism, classified the island tourism resources and introduced the feature of island tourism. Emphasized on the study of island tourism resource evaluation rationale, mainly including the following three theories: the sustainable development theory, the bearing capacity theory and the resource economics theory.4. The fourth part began with a brief summary to the research object and research method, along with a detailed analysis of island tourism resources feature. Based on the above analysis, the author selected twenty-six index from five aspects-resource value, status quo, regional traffic, environmental capacity and economic benefits to build the potential evaluation index system which containing three levels on island county tourism resources development. The paper selected the latest statistical data of the twelve island counties in our country as the research object, analyzed the data by using of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the projection pursuit method. On the basis of the evaluation results, we pointed out the problems existing in the development of the island county tourism resources, and proposed the corresponding development advice.5. The fifth part escaped the related concept and theory of integration, analyzed the mechanism and the existing problems in island tourism resources integration, then the author put forward integration thoughts from two levels and three dimensions on island tourism resources.6. The sixth part gave a summary of the main problems existing in development potential evaluation and integration of island county tourism resources. Finally, the author pointed out the article deficiency and gave a related prospect to be researched in the future.
