Research On Critical Technology Selection Of Equipment Manufacturing Enterprises In China

China has now moved to technology era. So it is important for enterprises to seize thecritical technology for their independent development. It obvious that whether an industrycan prosperous or not depends on how well an enterprise can grasp, study, and develop itscritical technologies. While, in these years, many enterprises companies go through hardtimes due to their technology selections failures. For the equipment manufacturing, if anenterprise has chosen a wrong critical technology, this selection failure can be a deadlyblow. As the pillar of the whole national economy, the equipment manufacturing industryboth rise opportunities and challenges in front of us. So to study on the selection of criticaltechnology has significant influence and benefits.This paper combines quantitative and qualitative method, expert evaluation method,and documentation and statistics methods to select critical technology for equipmentmanufacturing enterprise. First, describe the impact factors of technology selection andstate the module of technology selection. Then, point out selecting principles and processes.Third, analyze the expert suggestions and evaluation results to build the evaluation systemand set indicators weights. Fourth, apply the expert evaluation the subject and the object ofanalysis of key technology, impact factors, discussion on selection principles and choicemodel and its implementation paths. The method is to isolate key technologies relatedselect indicators, expert survey gives weight and form a full set of indicators system. Useoptimum order method to select key technologies conducive to enterprise development.This paper conducts a test on a manufacturing enterprise and successfully select fivetechnologies for the enterprises critical technologies. The research objective is to make ascientific selection module and methods as an instructions or guidelines to explore thecritical technology, furthermore, to push equipment manufacturing enterprises to choosethe critical technology under a logic process and theoretical method.
