Labor force is the fountainhead that economy grows. In the last ten years. National economic growth rate maintains in10%above, which full of labor supply plays a crucial role in. At present, our country has an enormous population. Not only the labor age population accounts for a large percent of total population proportion, but also the total social dependency rate is low. Therefore, the population has created a favorable condition for economic development. China has entered into a very precious "demographic bonus" period, and whole country economy presents high savings, high investment and high growth.But as the abidance of family planning, the aging of the population and the reduction of the younger population have happened, and "Demographic bonus" tends to disappear in the next ten years. However, in recent years the labor participation rate of our country showed a declining trend, declined from77.8%in1999to73.3%in2009, which led to the shortage of the workforce supply with each passing day. This will not be conducive to the play of China’s "demographic bonus", and even hinder the development of our country economy.The main factors which influence the labor supply include both the amount of labor supply and labor participation rate. At present, the total volume of workforce supply increases slowly and tends to reduce, thus raising of the labor participation rate is the most effective way to increase the labor supply. However, the unbalance of structure of labor supply and demand, which is leading to the effective supply shortage of labor force, makes the labor participation rate rise hard.Education can enhance China’s labor force quality, adjust our country labor supply structure and change our country the employee’s labor concept. Education can increase labor supply and affect the labor participation rate. Therefore, education is the important way to improve the labor participation rate in our country so that it can increase the economic development of China.According to the sixth census data, the labor participation rate of different educational level, gender, age, region, household registration and educational expenditure is significantly different. Therefore, research on educational expenditure which spends in schools at all levels, different regions, different gender, different age, different household registration and different ethnic groups about has an important role in the raising of labor participation rate. This paper aims to study the structure of educational investment on the labor force participation rate effect, so as to promote China’s economic development. Education investment in different regions, gender, age, nationality, household register and school levels, on the labor force participation rate influence may vary. Effective education investment structure, can improve our country labor force participation rate. Therefore, study of educational investment in China’s labor supply has important significance.Through the analysis of this paper, we get the following conclusion:From all levels of education, education on labor force participation will influence weakened, with increased levels of workers education. And the primary school education expenditure can most effectively improve labor participation willingness.From the different household, the agricultural household educational expenditure is to raise labor participation willingness. And the high school education funds more into agricultural census register is the most effective way to raise the labor participation.From diverse ethnic, the Han nationality of the high school and the following education degree has more labor participation. And the influence of the high school education on different national labor participation is the largest.From the gender perspective, the male is higher than female on labor participation willingness. And labor participation gap of the male and female is higher in the middle and primary school education.From the age perspective,31-45years has strong labor participation willingness. And in the group of31-45ages, the primary school and junior high school education funds investment is the most effectiveFrom the regional perspective, Eastern labor of the high school and the following education has higher labor participation willingness. And the labor participation gap of the East and west is the most in the primary school and junior middle school education level.
