The female labor force participation rate can reflect the economic status of women in a country or in a region. Women can enhance their social and family status when they have job. To get a job also can promote the human capital accumulation of a female. This is very important for women in enhancing their self-development and also in achieving gender equality. The female labor force participation rate of china has been hovering at a high level since 1949. However, with the development of the economics, the female labor force participation rate has showed a tendency that the rate is getting lower and lower. After analyzing the data, we find that the female labor force participation rate in Xinjiang is also getting lower and lower. This phenomenon, which is very obvious, occurs with the reform of the economy of our country. With the economic reform, to maximizing their profits, interpret owners have declined the number of female employees, which leads to the decline of female labor force participation rate.This article, based on Xinjiang, analyses the factors that reflect the urban female labor force participation rate of Xinjiang. The factors include: the wage rate, the level of education, the number of children that under the age of 18, the number of household appliances, the income of their husband and the ethnic differences. And then this article analyses the level these factors affect the female labor force participation rate.
