Internet of Things is officially listed as one of the national emerging strategic industries in China, and its’technology and applications are to promote vigorously. As an application of Internet of Things, Internet of Vehicle is considered to be one of the large-scale applications which would be most likely to achieve first, because it has industrial technology base and strong real demand. Therefore, the realization of the application of this technology has great significance to the development of Internet of Things. The popularization of Internet of Vehicle depends on the development of its market, so the research about the industry and market helps to understand the form of the industrial chain and the market and to find the problems exist in the market.The thesis firstly introduces the development of Internet of Vehicle and makes comparative analysis. Based on the understanding of the vehicle networking technology, we sum up the development of Internet of Vehicle in developed countries and areas (United States, Europe, Japan) and obtain relevant experience in development process that we can learn. Compared with China’s current development status of Internet of Vehicle, we can find problems in Chinese development process, for example, the lack of standards in vehicle network system and the lack of integration and collaboration between participants in this industry. Secondly, the industrial chain and the market system of vehicle network are built. Detailed description of the products and services provided in the market is gave. Focusing on the analysis of industrial relations formed around the automobile manufacturers, TSP and telecom operators, the paper builds the three levels (system-services-application) industrial market system. As we can see, the development of this industry depends on the cooperation between enterprises, and the partner game model explains there is uncertainty in the cooperation and the equilibrium based on companies’ rational-decision in such cooperation is not the most efficient results. At last we make analysis on the personal user market. By excavating users’needs for the Telematics service and application, the research finds that the needs with a series of characteristics of potential, sudden, discrete and short service cycle. The types and modes of service products supplied in the market are also discussed. Based on the competition and monopoly in the market, we look forward the competition-monopoly market structure. When pricing, TSP faces the information asymmetry about the users’product-valuation, so we put the paradigm of mechanism design into practice to make analysis, and draw that TSP should provide user selectable product solution and also could improve products by three means:the quantity of types of service, services cycle purchased one time and pricing model.We can get objective understanding on the development of Internet of Vehicle, a clear fact about the composition of this industrial chain and market. From this we get understanding of the internal logic of partnerships between enterprises and of the personal user market. Also the suggestions about partnerships between complementary enterprises and about the improvement on products in individual user market contribute to related departments and enterprises.
