The Research To Speed Up Product Release Based On The Agile Methodology

Agile methodology, as a popular developing method in the past ten years, has been worldly recognized and adopted by more and more companies, which is an adaptive development process to the changing requirement from customers and markets and mainly focuses on increasing the manufacturing speed with the aim to increase team’s working efficiency and improve the quality of products including shortening the time to market. The development process based on the Agile methods is evolutionary, iterative and incremental. When the team develops the product, the plan can be adjusted in time with the requirement changes from customers because of the changing of business and market through contacting customers closely and collaboration each other with frequent information feedback.Presently, the implementation of Agile development method is almost limited in the users that belongs to software development companies. And the hardware company or a software and hardware integration development company are also faced a greater challenge in the face of cutting market cycle and improving quality expectation. So they also need to gradually seek the solution and practice to find suitable method for their own requirement for the purpose of improving production quality and shortening the R&D period of products. But normally, Agile methodology is generally regarded as an unpredictable process and still at the early stage of the application and has no enough experience as reference. For example, the Agile process can’t be directly adopted by developers only based on the traditional software testing model and design, which is the same important work with the coding design. The Agile process need to be improved together with the consideration of enterprise background as well as the intrinsic properties of theory. So the research topic on the Agile developing methodology has the important value on its application.In this paper, the background and present process of Agile methodology is reviewed in the introduction chapter. The advantages of Agile methodology on traditional process is theoretically listed in the chapter of literature review. The detailed analysis on the challenge of market is carried on and some advices are introduced to solve the shortcoming of E company. Then the application of Agile process including the practical steps and implementation effect are given, which is the evidence that agile process is with the characteristics of feasibility and high efficiency. Some suggestions on the application of Agile methodology are given as conclusionHere will be the practice of company E as an example to exploit the application of Agile methods in this research field, which of experience can be used for the development of other similar enterprises for reference. Theoretically, the experience of success can be extended to wider adoption of the agility of the development method.
