Research On The Application Of Scrum Agile In E-commerce R&D Project

With E-commerce business environment changing rapidly,and market demanding for innovation and trial,e-commerce enterprises faces many challenges in software development.The case study is based on a cross-border e-commerce internet start-up.Information systems such as online retail system,which are the core of business competitiveness,are subject to many chanlenges.For example,frequent changes of government policies,customs taxes,market hot spots and demand lead to issues including inefficiencies in R&D projects,product quality declines,unsatisfied project stakeholders and developers' disapproval.The traditional R & D model neet to adapted to the rapid changes of the current business,thus exploring new model of R&D and management is in great needs.By studying Agile and especially the theoretical framework and comprehensive development researched by Scrum agile,this paper analyzes the current st atus and problems of the actual case project,compares the characteristics and advantages of multiple agile methods,and designs the agile development application scheme based on Scrum framework.The program uses short-cycle iterative Scrum agile development mode to replace the traditional waterfall R & D process,to conduct a targeted method to change or improve in aspects of the research and development process,core activities,work elements and demanding requirements etc.,and to solve the project development systematically.In the practical case project implementation process,Scrum agile research and development program set up proper agile hardware and software environment for the overall transformation of the R & D team,and made full practical measurements in the promotion strategies,training guidance and selection of pilot projects,etc.And it adjusted the original organizational structure and team roles to adapt to the new development model.Besides,it also applied Dev Ops' concepts to better align operation and maintenance work with R &D.Finally,this paper verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of Scrum Agile in R & D of e-commerce information systems through the data comparison of project performance data and input-output,and the comprehensive evaluation methods such as questionnaire.Scrum Agile can improve the efficiency of software development projects,and especially it can be significant adaptable to frequently changes in demand.
