| In the mobility telecom industry, company T has been at the leading position for many years. It also has more than30years’business with each Chinese telecom operators. The company’s strategy is that supply the total solution for the operators with the partnership. Nowadays, the wireless networks are developing fast in the Chinese market. The In-building solution (IBS) is the major area of networks construction and optimization. However the company T take a little of IBS market share in the mainland of China.This paper describes the current Chinese market environment, and analyzes the internal resource and problem, then study the technology trend and business model. Through Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model and SWOT method, it clarifies the opportunity and challenge. Based on Positioning theory, it makes the new IBS strategy in Chinese market to get more market share and offer the excellent whole networks performance.This paper could be not only used to company T, it also can be a good reference for other telecom companies, especially for IBS area. |
