The Development Of Peasant Special Cooperative Organization And Their Impact On Peasant Increase Income In City Of Danyang

The paper used data from literature, history statistic and the author surveying from four typical specialty cooperation organizations (Jiangnan straw mushroom organization, Jiaxian rice-duck integrated farming organization, Lianhu pest control organization and Weimin rice transplanting with machine organization) as material to analysis the number, type changes, industry and regional distribution features of Danyang specialty cooperation organization and its drive effect on increasing peasants’income. The results showed that the specialty cooperation organization in Danyang increased out of nothing from the year2001to2010. With a decade years rapid development, the number of farmer specialty cooperative organizations had been about330, including15142peasant households which was8.54%of total peasant households of Danyang city by the year2010. The cooperation organization had been characterized by covering industry of Agriculture Forestry Animal Husbandry and Fishery, popularizing every town of the city, having single form of organization and chief directorand integrating production and sale on operation service. According to empirical analysis, it was found that different cooperation organization had different effect on increasing peasants income, for example the increasing range110.5%of Jiangnan straw mushroom>36.2%of Jiaxing rice-duck integrated farming>24.0%of Weimin rice transplanting with machine>16.4%of Lianhu pest control. We also found that its drive effect on increasing farmer’income by their age and cultural level, the maximum effect was the farmers whose age were65or more old and culture degree of primary school or blew, the second was the farmers whose age were51-64old and culture degree of junior middle school and the final was farmers whose age50old or younger and culture degree over high school. During the investigation, we had found the development of Danyang specialty cooperation organization was just in its beginning stage and the primary causes of restricting development of this organization were its small scale, faint cooperative consciousness and less profit getting and low satisfactory of peasants, insufficient supporting by the government and so on. Therefore, the author suggested the government took measures just like increasing propaganda, improving peasants’ cooperative consciousness, standarding management of the system, increasing distribution proportion of profit to peasant, enlarging scale of agricultural specialization, increasing financial support and so on to promote healthy development of Danyang Peasant Special Cooperative Organizations.
