Social Security is to protect people’s lives, adjust a basic system of social distribution, is one of the primary means of redistribution of national income adjustment mechanism. With the urban and rural boundaries blur, an aging population increasingly grim situation, the medical problems of more and more people’s attention. At present, China’s medical security system has taken shap e, the urban basic medical insurance, new rural cooperative medical insurance for urban residents basic medical insurance have been established. However, due to historical reasons and the syste m itself defects, uneven urban and rural medical security, the low level of co-ordination phenome non have become increasingly prominent. In this paper, based on the analysis of the structure of health insurance status and problems of fragmentation, goals and path of the proposed health ins urance co-ordination. I hope to help the early realization of China’s universal health care system.In this paper, a total of four chapters, except for the introduction, first to four chapters constit ute the main part of this article.The first chapter of China’s medical insurance system to sort out the resulting fragmentation of the structure of China’s medical insurance conclusion. It is also due to the fragmented structur e generation, brought a payment mechanism, financing mechanisms, management mechanism pr oblems.
