Operation And Management Research In Inner Mongolia Regional Airports

The development of feeder airport and feeder aviation has always been a hot topic in civil aviation industry, even among the public. By2011, Inner Mongolia has the second highest number of airports in formal operation. According to the twelfth five-year plan in civil aviation, there will be up to30feeder airports, which will make Inner Mongolia a real "big feeder region". Now the increment speed of national civil aviation is slowing down, but conversely, Inner Mongolia feeder airport is developing fast and has achieved a lot. However, the development of Inner Mongolia feeder aviation has met some difficulties, such as feeder airport positioning, operation management choice and so on.This paper puts forward an optimizing strategy which suits the operation management of Inner Mongolia feeder airport. There is qualitative and quantitative determination from the perspective of theory and practice. All of these will provide a scientific basis for the improvement of operation management model of Inner Mongolia feeder airport.This paper consists of five parts.The first part introduces the writing background, objective, significance and method. Besides, the domestic and overseas research situation of feeder airport operation management is discussed.The second part is related basic theories. First, there is an introduction to operation management and then its meaning and characters. Second, different feeder airport operation management models at home and abroad will be compared. At last, the classification criterions of feeder airport are discussed, foreshadowing the following analysis.The third part analyzes the current situation of operation management of Inner Mongolia feeder airport. With an introduction to the general situation of Chinese feeder airport, there is classification analysis of Inner Mongolia feeder airport. There are both advantages and disadvantages. Feeder airport is both public and beneficial and operation management model should vary from passenger throughput. Then some issues are analyzed, like airport positioning, airport construction, airline network, operation pressure and support capacity.The fourth part is about optimizing strategy of Inner Mongolia feeder airport operation model. After expressing the basic principal and thinking, there will be five detailed aspects, which are about centralized control, classified management, airline network improvement, integration of construction and operation and operation environment optimization.The conclusion is stated in the fifth part.
