Organizational Project Management plays an increasingly important role in achieving the organization’s strategy_or the successful transformation of enterprises. With the in-depth research of organizational project, it has expanded from the project management discipline to business administration discipline, which has become an interdisciplinary research subject. For OPM, from the organizational driving factors to core driving process group, academia has different angles and levels of discussion. Research on OPM aims to establish a OPM system for relevant industry by drawing lessons from mature project management methods and tools, and by proceeding customized tailoring and integration which combining with the characteristics of the organizational culture and the environment. The OPM system can guarantee to achieve a series of key project objectives, and can implement strategy successfully, and also can set up a strategic project-oriented agility organization.This paper with the examples of IT organizations in K airport analyzes from China civil aviation airport industry strategic background and the trend, and analyzes from the present situation of IT organization in K airport and organizational strategy and responsibility as well as the corresponding strategy to undertake project implementation. OPM carries out mainly around four core driving process. First, Strategic Match. The organization’s strategic implement to the project and the resources and organizational process assets. Second, methodology of OPM. It is important to establish an applicative and associated project management methodology for operation management mode of the organization. Third, governance. Through a review and decision-making institution across the organization of all levels and across business line control framework, it can make the project results value maximization. Fourth, capacity management. In conjunction with the organization’s human resource management from the perspective of human resource training, we can ensure the ability to provide portfolio, program and project.This paper is derived from IT organization operation management in K airport, which the process of study is along with the group development process and research results are applied to the organization change management. Through the implementation of the preliminary results, it can provide the foundation and the accumulation of experience for further improving of the OPM system, and also provide a certain reference for pursuing the OPM in airport industry.
