Study On The Evaluation Of The Yanyzhou Land-Using Based On The Dea Method

With the rapid development of our economy and accelerated urbanization process arising in China,land use and land product needs to expand ceaselessly, the land area for construction has been increased year by year,reserve land resource decreases day by day,the contradiction between the people and land has become increasingly prominent.The shortage of land resources was the constraints of the Shanghai economy.Land as a scarce resource,efficiency of land use has caused wide concern.As one of the most important economic activities and the most active elements,the use efficiency of the land resources and many factors are closely related such as the regional natural condition and the number of inputs for the factor of production.therefore,the efficiency of land use is made of a multi-input and multi-output production system.When we evaluate the level of utilization efficiency,with its comprehensive efficiency evaluation we should carry out the comparison between a variety of output and input.In this study,we use DEA method which can solve problems for multi-input variables and multi-output variables to evaluate land-using efficiency of7disticts and counties in YangZhou and make some policy recommendations.The full text is divided into five parts:In the first part,the study mainly elaborated background,method,meaning,data sources,innovation,the framework of the full text.It summarized the research on land-using efficiency evaluation and DEA method.Finally,the study simply summarized possible innovation and shortage of this research.The second part mainly summarized and summed up the theory of the land use and the efficiency of the land use.Then the study evaluated and studied the connotation of the land use,the land-using efficiency and problems;finally,the part analysed the method of the land-using efficiency about the principal component of analysis method,AHP and DEA.The third part starts from describing the basic idea of DEA method and the purpose of evaluation.First of all this chapter describes the basic idea of DEA method;From the perspective of economics,we introduce the scale efficiency,technical efficiency and overall efficiency;then the comparison and the economical meaning among the three are described;The text introduces two models which are the most basic of the DEA method-C2R and C2GS2.The fourth part generally introduces the influencing factors of the land use and how to construct the evaluation system of the land-using efflciency.Firstly,the part expounds the influencing factors of the land-using efficiency, and analyzes the goals of the land-using efficiency,and introduces the basic principle of the index system construction.Finally,we construct the index system of the land-using efficiency.The fifth part is the empirical analysis.By establishing the evaluation system and through data analysis,DEA method is used to evaluate the7suburban districts and counties of YangZhou,and to calculate over the technical efficiency,scale efficiency,overall efficiency and the value of the scale profit in order to analyse the stage of the production in the region whether the return to scale is increasing,decreasing or constant.Based on series of time datas about the input and output from2005to2009,changes of the efficiency of land use are compared longitudinally especially for WeiYang and GaoYou.The sixth part is conclusion and prospect.This part reviews the process of this research, summarizes main conclusions, and puts forward recommendations based on the analysis of the outcome of DEA method and raw data.
