Study Based On The DEA Method Of Xi’an Land Using Efficiency

With the rapid growth of population and economy, rapid growth in demandfor construction purposes, the rapid reduction of agricultural land, agriculturalland has not been fully justified, lack scientific guidance of non-agriculturalconstruction land, land wastage of the phenomenon seriously, inefficient landuse; land-use and ecological environment has been badly damaged; a limitednumber of reserved land resources. How to increase land use efficiency ofXi’An on the land-use are now one of the main problems facing. Presentsituation of land resources has become an important factor restricting thedevelopment of Xi’An economy further. In this sense, Xi’An continues to relyon large-scale investment in land is neither realistic nor to support economicgrowth. Improve the efficiency of use of limited land became important way toalleviate the lack of land resource in Xi’An city land use efficiency is not high,there are extensive, idle, wasting "less efficient" feature. Scientific evaluation ofland use efficiency is very important to use land more efficiently. So, how toevaluate land use efficiency of Xi’An city just how high land use efficiency is the focus of this article concernsUse this article to address multiple input variables, output variables in DataEnvelopment Analysis (DEA) for2010, Xi’An counties, from agricultural landand land use aspects of land use efficiency assessment, evaluation results andpolicy recommendations.
