Cultural trade includes cultural products and cultural services, which is kind of import-export behavior tends to express cultural context in terms of visible and invisible cultural products. Cultural trade is attached to high value, which can improve the development of economics and society. So, all countries over the world are developing cultural trade actively. China owns long history and rich cultural resources, however, cultural trade in China exits huge trade deficit. Only by recognizing the influence factors, can find ways to break the predicament.This paper focus on the influence factors of cultural trade development. First of all, review both domestic and abroad relative documents. Starting with basic concept and relative theories of cultural trade, introduce development status of domestic and abroad cultural trading. Second of all, use the competitive advantage of nations’ theory to analyze the influence factors of cultural trade development, which includes the factors:cultural factor, human resource, capital resource, domestic and abroad demand, cultural industry, information industry, finance and ttourism, cultural enterprise strategies, structure and competition, domestic and abroad opportunities and governmental assistant, which shows that cultural trade in China combine multiple advantage and disadvantage.After quality analyze, based on UNESCO standard classification, this paper analyses13panel data of cultural products, and uses the Trade Gravity Model to carry on an empirical study of influence factor of cultural trade development in China, which testify theory parts about major influence factors. Major conclusions:the export amount of cultural products in China is easily influenced by import countries’ purchasing power, is proportional with import countries’ popularity; efficiency of cultural producing can improve cultural product’s export, mainly photography; China’s cultural import concentrates in developed countries which have strong comprehensive strength; China’s purchasing power influences China’s cultural import limitedly; Chinese population don’t improve the import largely; most of cultural product trading in China is inversely proportional to geographic distance and is not obvious with whether trade country is China-ASEAN Free Trade Area members or not.Finally, the article puts forward the suggestions from the perspectives of government and enterprise, including increasing investment in education and personnel training, enhancing the independent innovation capability.
