Xinjiang is consists of86counties and63counties cultivating cotton.More than60%farmers’ income basically come from the cotton income.Cotton is one of important economiccrops in Xinjiang,which is makes enormous contributions to Xinjiang agriculturaldevelopment.In recent years, with the rapid development of cotton textile industry, cotton market isoversupply. In order to meet the demand of the development of domestic cotton textileindustry, China imports large quantities of cotton from the international market,which is usedto fill the breach of domestic cotton market. Lots of low-priced imports of cotton from theinternational market, causing a huge impact on cotton production in China, leading to cottongrower income reduced, increasing the risk of cultivating cotton,and the productivity is hardto improve. As China’s largest cotton region-Xinjiang cotton region, the maximum impactstrength of international cotton market is on Xinjiang..Since cotton is the main source ofincome in Xinjiang agriculture.To low cotton price will directly lead to decrease cottongrowers’ incomes.This will bring a negative effect on the development of Xinjiang agriculture,improving cotton planting technology level and farmer standard of living. The current studyon the influencing factors on the cotton price fluctuation is mainly from the aspects of theinfluencing factors of the national cotton price fluctuation analysis, analysis of the influencingfactors of a region of the cotton price is less. This paper is mainly from the aspects of theimpact factors of Xinjiang cotton price fluctuations to begin, mainly from the five aspects ofpolicy, system and management, the cotton market instability, agricultural prices and otheragricultural products, to analyze its impact on Xinjiang cotton price fluctuationsrespectively.Finally, on the basis of this analysis put forward the countermeasure andsuggestion related.
