Farmers’professional co-operatives are a legal personality of the organization for economic cooperation, which is on the basis of household contract responsibility system. In this organization farmers comply with the principle of the voluntary association, the democratic management and the common ownership. In addition, fanners are together in accordance with the similar products’ production, processing, marketing, and socialized service. The majority of the population of China is farmers. Change the mode of farmers’ production and the productive relations is the inner motive power to increase farmers’ income and achieve modernization and urbanization. The establishment of farmers’ professional co-operatives is the basic way to change farmers’ weak position. Because it is changed the scattered farmers which is based on the family mode of operation, realizes the farmer’s joint production and improved the organization degree of farmers.Agriculture is the leading industry of XinYang in Henan province. Agriculture, rural areas and farmers’ problem is a major problem for the development of XinYang. In2009, XinYang was named for rural reform and development of comprehensive experimental area by the central government. Since then, the various system reforms have started in XinYang. In the construction process of the experimental zone, the farmers’ professional co-operatives got vigorous development. Some cooperatives are even voted for model by the national government. But now it is lacking of system research of the farmers’ professional co-operatives in XinYang. So if can have a comprehensive survey of the current situation of the development of farmer cooperatives in the region, analyses the reason of its rapid development and summed up its problems and the insufficiency, it will help to further healthy development of farmers’ professional co-operatives in XinYang. At the same time, it has the reference significance for the establishment and development of farmer professional cooperatives in other regions.This paper is divided into six sections. It is introduction in the first chapter, it elaborated the selected topic background and significance of this paper, then introduce the research results both at home and abroad, main content and research methods, as well as the innovation and deficiencies in this paper. The second section mainly discusses the rationality and necessity of existence of farmers’ professional cooperatives. In this chapter, it firstly restricts the scope of farmers’ professional co-operatives, by using the method of distinguishing with other organization for economic cooperation. Secondly it analyzes the background and motivation of the fanners’ professional cooperatives in our country. The third section expounds the background and current situation of development of farmer professional cooperatives in XinYang. At the same time it analysis the development characteristic and the influence which produced by farmers’ professional co-operatives in this region. In order to better analyze the farmers’ professional co-operatives, in the fourth section, it selects the typical co-operatives in XinYang to analyzed in detail. On the basis of overall analysis and typical analysis, the fifth section summarized the development experience of farmers’ professional co-operatives in XinYang. At the same time, It points out the existing problems and the reasons for the problem. In the last section, in view of the cause of the problem of farmers’ professional co-operatives in XinYang, it put forward the principle of development and goals for specification. The central idea is to emphasize farmers’ subject status in the cooperatives. And give countermeasures and suggestions according to the principle.
