The Model Selection And Path To The Urbanization Construction Of Rural Areas In Guangzhou

As one kind of economic phenomenon, urbanization, the products of humansociety in higher stage, is the necessary way to the world and regional economic andsocial development. With the growing of industrialization and modernization,urbanization emerges, grows, and picks up speed. As the advanced state of humansettlement, it has been existed in each country, especially in developed countries. Upto now, urban has been the main power to social economic activities, and plays adecided role in the operation of the national economy and the process of socialdevelopment.Guangzhou, one of the relatively developed cities in the eastern region in ourcountry, achieves great success in urbanization of rural areas. The urbanization ofrural areas develops rapidly. The whole economic society has been in the period ofquickly development. While, there are many problems, such as, bad quality, seriousenvironmental pollution, great resource cost. According to comparing the developingspeed of urbanization of rural areas with of industry as well as economy, this studymakes analysis and judgment to the development of urbanization speed in Guangzhou,and makes an attempt to its model and path. According to the real conditions inGuangzhou, this study has formed evaluation index system and methods to its quality,and has evaluated the quality of the urban economic and social development, theconstruction of infrastructural facilities, life-style, environment of living, citymanagement. The present study is a good exploration to the model and pathurbanization construction of rural areas in Guangzhou in the period of transition.The logic structures and contents of this study are: Chapter1mainly expoundsthe selection background, research significance, defines the core concepts, evaluatesthe related literature, identifies research methods adopted, and lists the whole structure.On the basis of reviewing the achievements in construction of urbanization of ruralareas, Chapter2gives positive answer. Simultaneously, it also points out the dilemma and problems. As the active response to Chapter2, Chapter3, firstly, gives briefintroduction to the background of the construction in the period of transition.Then,according to the real conditions of Guangzhou; it puts forward to the model and path.Lastly, by building the comprehensive index system, it explains how to judge thequality of construction. Chapter4provides the strategies which assure that the modeland path can be put into practice smoothly.
