With the reform and restructuring of China’s Telecom, China Telecom is facing a new, more competitive market environment. In the new market, the traditional product-based marketing model can not adapt to market development. Through an multi-directional, multi-channel information, Telecom industry is opening up the market to meet the needs of various customers evolving communications needs. As China’s largest telecom operators, China Telecom faces:in the current market conditions, the business transformation issues. Modern marketing channels are the inevitable outcome of market economy, to create a unique advantage of marketing channels is a key factor of China Telecom in successful transformation. The transformation of China Telecom require integrate the business and optimize existing resources, through more comprehensive and deeper level of information consumption, to mine potential customers, timely introduce the channel mode to meet user needs and adapt to the development of new forms of marketing. Similarly, in order to achieve competitive advantage. The Kunming Telecom must adapt the concept of traditional marketing and changes to customer-centric, market-oriented transformation of China Telecom in the process of opening up a new marketing channel strategy.In this paper, based on the professional knowledge of marketing and management theory, by collecting, analyzing, researching the history-related data of Kunming Telecom, and the implementation of China Telecom corporate strategy is based on the direction of the transition, refer to the relevant professional literature, based on the four major marketing channels of China Telecom, according to the marketing environment and the status quo of Kunming Telecom’s marketing channel, to analyze the business strategy at the process of transformation, for the current market environment of Kunming Telecom, how to based on customer needs and market segmentation, summed up the strategy to adapt the Marketing channel model of Kunming Telecom development.
