With the rapid development of tourism, the manor cultural tourism gradually develops into animportant part of the world tourism. Kangbaiwan Manor is located in the city of Gongyi, Henan province.Kangbaiwan Manor, Liu Manor and Mou Manor are referred to as the China’s top three landowner manors.Leaning against Mang Ridge and facing Yiluo river, the manor has the complete functions and the preciouslayout, whose scientific, artistic, historical and cultural value in traditional architecture are highly praised.The art of carving there is regarded as the jewel of the Central Plains’ art. Kangbaiwan manor is the grandview garden for the residence in Ming and Qin dynasty, the miniature of the traditional architecture and thetypical representative of the traditional houses in the Central Plains.The manor is the historical resource that has profound historical tradition and contains a wealth ofinformation releasing the evolution of society. So we should attach much importance to its protection tomake its sustainable development. The development of the manor cultural tourism not only gives anadvantage in financial, technical and environmental support to its protection, but also strengthens thepeople’s awareness of protecting the manor. However, at present the manor tourism develops slowly. Manydefects exist in tourism management. The contradiction between the development of manor tourism and itsprotection become increasingly prominent. The big gap in the development of different manors and manyinadequacies in cultivating the manor culture can’t be ignored. Under that circumstance, it is of muchsignificance to study how to develop the cultural products of the manor to facilitate the manor tourism. Thispaper takes the development of the cultural products of the manor as the research objective, puts forwardthe principles of exploring the manor cultural tourism—prioritize its distinctive feature, adhere to themarket-oriented mechanism and protect the historical heritage. Based on the research of the factors of thecultural tourism product, the diverse exploration models and marketing strategies are utilized to conduct thecreative development. Meanwhile, the author investigated the current operation and development ofKangbaiwan Manor tourism and found out some problems: the simple structure of its tourism products, theweak innovation, insufficient support from the local government, the poor publicity, the conflict betweenthe exploration of the tourism products and the preservation of the resources, the shortage of effectivemarketing channels, less rate of the second visit and so on. By analyzing the cultural products of KangbaiwanManor.this paper proposes measures for tourismproducts development and innovation in the Manor from various aspects such as further development of tourism products to extend the special tourism products, diversification of tourism product portfolio to developtourism products jointly, and broadening the concept of tourism products to strengthen publicity and promotion so as to establish a good image. The results of this study will be enlightening and significant to someextent for the cultural tourism development of the Manor.
