Newcomers’ proactive socialization behavior is a series of strategies andbehavior to learn the job skills, adapt to organizational norms and culture, getthe recognition and the support of the member in the organization whennewcomers come into the organization. Proactive socialization behavior canmake newcomers faster into the organization, to speed up the new staff fromorganization "outside people" into "insider people" process.This essay adopts literature review, questionnaires and other researchmethods to explore the proactive socialization behavior related to degree oforganizational socialization. Through investigating more than500employees inour country from some different cities, during the carefully survey, this articlemainly takes the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis,correlation analysis, regression analysis, sobel test, bootstrapping test and otherstatistical analysis technique. Draw on the following conclusions:First, the construct of newcomers’ proactive socialization behaviorincluded six dimensions: information seeking, feedback seeking, relationshipbuilding, positive framing, job change negotiation, participate in groupactivities.Second, newcomers’ proactive socialization behavior was found tosignificantly moderate the relationship between self-efficacy and degree oforganizational socialization. And organizational culture was found to significantly mediate the relationships between proactive socialization behaviorand degree of organizational socialization. A moderated mediation model wasbuilt that included self-efficacy, degree of organizational socialization,organizational culture, proactive socialization behavior.Third, discussion about the demographical variables, effects on the contentsof proactive socialization behavior. The demographical variables included,education, post, corporate nature, firm size and work experience. It was foundthat the demographical variables had some significant effects on the contents ofproactive socialization behavior.In the end, the research discussed the current limitations and future researchorientation.
