Nowadays, China’s labor market has entered the market-oriented model, workersand employers achieve of two-way choice free. But the macroscopic background ofthe general employment situation is not optimistic in China, It is difficult for Collegestudent to obtaining employment, because of gender discrimination, female collegestudents’ employment is much more serious.This paper mainly using the theory and method of classical economics of labordiscrimination, explaines sex discrimination in employment of female universitygraduates encountering. The prevalence of female university graduates in the labormarket discriminaed will not only damage to women’s labor rights, more important isalso affect the family and Society for women to making the decision of investment inhuman capital, and the investment decision will in turn aggravate genderdiscrimination in employment, it will be a vicious spiral, serious waste of valuablehuman resources in china. On the other hand, the overall employment genderdiscrimination can also lead to women’s low social status, not only affects thewell-being of families, but also will become a major disturbance factor to theconstruction of a harmonious society. Through the comprehensive analysis of thereality of the labor market, considering the salary is the key factor of employment,this paper focuses on the wage gap between boys and girls in the same educationalbackground. Through some data investigation led to the center point of this article thatgirls face unequal treatment in employment wages. Then, through the data regression analysis showing gender wage discrimination does exist, the existence ofdiscrimination to what extent, then decomposition of the factors affecting thediscrimination,The fifth chapter explains the reasons of sex discrimination in employmentgenerated according to the comprehensive conclusion analysis and decomposition ofthe results of empirical, main causes of gender discrimination in employment is inmany aspects: the economic, social and legal construction, such as industrial structureand labor supply development are not synchronized; the employing unit’ economicchoices; feudal gender the idea think that women are inferior to men still exists, allkinds of social security system in our country to help women’s employment is notperfect; in addition, the sex discrimination in employment so popular have anotherimportant reason is the lack of existing legal rules for operation. Finallycorresponding to the reasons, the author puts forward some suggestions from theeconomic perspective, social perspective and the perspective of law, such as thedevelopment of the tertiary industry, reproductive costs borne by society, perfectingthe legal rules for the operation.
