Since the reform and opening up, Inner Mongolia economy in stable, rapid and sustainable development of the situation, the overall strength significantly increased, the income of urban and rural residents are rapid growth, the people out of poverty, realizes from lack of food and clothing to the well-off across, with the actual per capita income level of urban and rural residents to the general improvement in urban and rural income, Inner Mongolia than rising increasing income gap between urban and rural areas. Between the urban and the rural development is not balanced phenomenon more and more obviously, the problem of a broadening of the income gap between the residents have become increasingly prominent. At present our country macro economic policy for the principle of pay more attention to social fairness, in order to effectively control the income gap between urban and rural residents, the income gap between urban and rural residents in Inner Mongolia and the relationship between the economic growth and the income gap between urban and rural residents find influence factors for Inner Mongolia, the comprehensive construction well-off society has the important meaning.Urban and rural development in China’s economic and social imbalance is the most prominent contradictions, not only affects the social stability, and will restrict national sustained economic growth. Based on the carding about the income gap and economic growth of the domestic and foreign research present situation after, on the income gap of the basic concept and measure indicators do a brief introduction, and then from Inner Mongolia economic growth and the income gap between the actual situation, the author analyzes the income gap between urban and rural residents in Inner Mongolia, using the characteristics of the income gap between the index income ratio, gini coefficient and tyer index are deeply analyzed, and Inner Mongolia will be the income of urban and rural residents status and the national average compared to Inner Mongolia, understand the urban and rural residents income gap has been presented to expand and rising trend, and gradually close to the national average. On the basis of the use of1978-2011years of Inner Mongolia in urban and rural income ratio and per capita GDP model to verify the existence of Inner Mongolia inverted U curve, and at the same time using cointegration test, vector error correction model and granger causality test in1978-2011Inner Mongolia economic growth and the income gap between urban and rural residents of the relationship between the two, the author finds that between stable long-term equilibrium relationship, and economic growth will cause the income gap between urban and rural residents, the enlargement of the income gap between the urban and rural residents to expand economic growth without any influence, they are unidirectional causality. Through the establishment of state space model of the income gap between urban and rural residents of the influencing factors were analyzed, and found that the level of urbanization, agricultural and pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia fixed assets accounted for the proportion of the whole society, foreign direct investment in GDP, education spending accounts for the proportion of fiscal expenditure and pension social assistance accounted for the proportion of fiscal expenditure on the income gap between urban and rural residents is the enlargement of have the influence of different level to the Inner Mongolia, and then to the current situation of the urban and rural income is higher, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for the expansion of narrowing the income gap has important practical significance.
