With the adjustment of worldwide economic structure, the economicstatus of service sector has upgraded.At the same time, traditional tradeenterprises are faced with many practical problems,such as the decrease oftheir commodity profit margins, the increase of their consumers requests.Traditional trade enterprises cannot simply remain their competitives byselling commodity. Therefore, with this complex external environment, lotsof trade enterprises at home and abroad actively permeate into service areasand seek for service transition. Many trade enterprises try to research anddevelop all kinds of service products to increase the added value of theirown products. And they gradually change selling products into selling theirservice functions. Service sector has become into a new economy growthpoint and source of profits. Service-oriented has turned into the significantdevelopment trend of the trade enterprises in the present internationalcommunity.However,at present scholars mainly concentrate on production-orientedenterprises to research service transition, but less on trade enterprises. Andthey have not formed a unified theoretical framework or an operabilablemodel.On this basis, this paper did some theoretical study and selected acase company to analyze.It based on some research findings to study tradeenterprises to explore trade transition pathes which suit their actualbusinesses.First of all,it explained the necessity of trade enterprises to makesome service transformation, and then it investigated the internal andexternal influencing factors.With this, it explored the realization routes fortrade enterprises to do service transition, and also combined with thedevelopment practical of Dinghong Technology Co.,Ltd.. At last, it putforward some strategic recommendations for this company from five areas. These five areas included forming service concepts,locating the valuechain,exploring new service products,establishing the organizationalstructure and perfecting the regulatory system.Above all,this paper providedsome reference for its service transition path.
