This study, based on the information literacy theory, takes the managers in the organization as the research object, and makes organization informatization and life informatization of the information society into a background. The main content is the information literacy of enterprise managers and its ascending path. On related literature review, the paper carries on the level and content of comparative analysis for the information literacy of managers at different levels and different departments, in order to research the method and the path to improve the information literacy of managers. For a present situation of an enterprise(Zhengzhou Zhaofeng Grain and Oil Machinery Co., Ltd.) managers information literacy, the article is to analyze the phenomenon and make suggestions to enhance the business managers of information literacy. Finally, the article analysis of social and environmental impacts on the managers’ information literacy, and then puts forward the development tendency of information literacy.This paper is divided into five chapters, the main part for the paper are the second c hapter, the third chapter and the fifth chapter.The first chapter is the research background and significance analysis for research status of domestic and international research content and focus and research methods and thesis structure. Under the background of research for information literacy which exists in all types of organizations in various managers, the related literatures at home and abroad are reviewed and analyzed. The foreign information literacy research discusses the importance of information literacy and job, the problems and successful cases, from the perspective of working practice. The focus of information literacy education is on colleges and universities, and information literacy research is on the rise, however, the research that is directly related to information literacy and managers is less.The second chapter studies the various manager information literacy, and does a comparative analysis. Analyzing the similarities and differences of the various types of manager’s information literacy, it introduces the manager’s information literacy at the grassroots level, the information literacy of middle managers, and senior managers of information literacy. Also, the similarities and differences of the different levels of manager’s information literacy and the similarities and differences of the different department managers information literacy. According to the definition of the different levels of managers and job content, it analyzes the similarities and differences of their information literacy and requirements, and takes an enterprise being the basic structure as an example, to analysis of the similarities and differences of the managers of the different departments, such as marketing, production, administration and other departments of information literacy requirements.The third chapter analyzes five aspects of culture methods to improve the manager information literacy. Firstly, the ability of managers to determine information includes: the difficulty to describe information needs, how to express information requirements properly, the classification of information resources and corporate information, the difficulty and principle of selecting information, and weighing the information costs and benefits. Secondly, the ability of managers to obtain information includes:the selection of information research methods, information retrieval system, and the retrieval vocabulary. It also contains the laws of logic operation of information system. Moreover, the method to obtain information is the evaluation method of search results, network method of search results and firsthand information to understand the basic knowledge of the information management, enterprise knowledge management and personal knowledge management. Thirdly, the information ability of managers includes the content of the evaluation and integration as follow:reading and summarizing the key points, evaluating the authenticity of the information acquired, building new ideas and concepts, integrating information, determining the value of the information, and making information authentic. Fourthly, the ability to use information contains:on one hand, managers can re-organize information to support the product and function. On the other hand, manager’s use, organizes, and design formation to improve working in the communication that can affect the recipient in an appropriate manner. Fifthly, the content of manager’s ethics training is that not only do managers need to understand the ethical, legal and socio-economic information and information technology issues. But they understand of the intellectual property, copyright and fair use, as well as patent protection mechanism.For a corporate the managers information literacy survey, the forth chapter is analysis of the survey results, and proposes a solution to increase the corporate managers of information literacy. The questionnaire is divided into two parts:The first part is the information literacy survey about day-to-day behavior of managers, and the second part is the information literacy self-evaluation of the managers. Overall information literacy is between "can" and "do not know". The information literacy level of middle managers is higher than the grassroots managers’ and senior managers’. There are two ways of business managers to enhance information literacy. On the one hand, managers enhance themselves by learning and diligent practice; on the other hand, managers are enhanced by the system of enterprises.The fifth chapter respectively investigates the impact of information technology on managers information literacy, and managers how to accept and take the initiative to enhance information literacy in both information technology environment, to adapt the needs of society and work, and to achieve their purpose in work and career, All the explore are from two angle:activity information technology and organizational information。Organizational information technology proposed more stringent requirements on manager of information literacy than activity information technology. Managers in order to complete the tasks and goals, not only need to understand the scope and nature of the information needed to obtain the required information, rigorous evaluation of information and resources, and the selected information into personal knowledge, and to solve actual problems, and improve the work.The main points of the paper are as follows:First, for the organizational of the various types of managers, on information literacy five areas, the requirements of the three-level managers are not the same, in the general requirements of the information literacy competency, Sorted in order of decreasing is marketing department managers, the administrative department managers, production department managers.second (?) information to determine the ability to obtain capacity, information, information evaluation and integration capabilities, the ability to use information ethics training path,for each Information Literacy Competency, analysis of its main problems and enhance.Third, managers in which the environmental impact of its information literacy, as well as managers of information literacy trends. In the information society,Managers in which the information environment, including life information technology and organizational information, life information technology including family information and community information and respectively analysis of its managers information literacy,finally, proposed the development of the managers information literacy enhance trends and fundamental requirement.
