The Technological Adoption And Influence Of Information And Communication Technologies (ICTs):Case Study Of Huawei Technologies In Cameroon

Scientific advances and technological change are important drivers of recent firm’s performance. The ability to create, distribute and exploit knowledge has become a major source of competitive advantage, wealth creation and improvements in the quality of life. Some of the main features of this transformation are the growing impact of information and communications technologies (ICT) on the economy and on society; the rapid application of recent scientific advances in new products and processes; a high rate of innovation across countries; a shift to more knowledge-intensive industries and services; and rising skill requirements. Our dissertation consists of analyzing the technological influence of ICTs in Cameroon firm’s activities and to show the role of Huawei technologies in themes of ICTs. This means technology and innovation is now the key to improve firm’s performance and social well-being.The paper discusses also how countries like Cameroon absorb new ICTs and how Cameroon benefit by accepting ICTs in work and everyday life, these are the evidences which contribution to growth and jobs opportunities There is concern, especially a mongst developed nations that advance in, and the rapid growth of ICTs has the possibility of creating a new form of inequality among individuals. The Cameroon government recognizes the potential for some sections of society to be alienated from the new digital environment and has made a commitment to creating an inclusive society where all individuals have the opportunity to access and effectively use ICTs.
