With the fast developing of society, the enterprises begin to realize how importantly the employees affect the development of the enterprises. Especially for the small and medium‐sized businesses, the wastage rate is relatively large, which caused big inconvenience and lose to regular developing of the enterprises. A lot of managers begin to pay strong attention to exactly grasp the employee satisfaction of the enterprises. This paper is researched based on the background.This paper firstly reviewed the research status of domestic and international of employee satisfaction evaluation of small and medium‐sized businesses, analyzed the definitions, characteristics, of small and medium‐sized businesses and employ satisfaction, then analyzed the necessity of researching on employee satisfaction of small and medium‐sized enterprises. Based on this basis, this article elaborated the general process of employee satisfaction evalution,and the common methods of employee satisfaction assessment. Then the index factors has been selected from six phases: payment and welfare, job duties, company management, job atmosphere, promotion, job prospect. After that, the paper explained the application steps of the model in employee satisfaction based on CIM model. At last, relying on the engineering case, the paper simulated the established CIM risk assessment model, evaluated the whole employee satisfaction and analyzed the assessment result. Finally established the strategy system of rising employee satisfaction of this company.This study is a useful attempt of employee satisfaction of small and medium‐sized businesses analysis, and attempts to provide some reference for employee satisfaction of small and medium‐sized businesses.
