Research On The Coordinated Development Of Island Economic And The Environment In Long Island

As a very important component of Chinese economy development, coastaleconomy has received a high attention. But due to the defective laws ofour country and excessive pursuit of economic growth in the past, weignored the emphasis on coastal and marine ecological environment. Andthe fragile island ecosystem is very vulnerable to the impact of humaneconomic and social activities, which brings the marine pollution and thedeterioration of ecological environment. At the same time, bad ecologicalenvironment has restricted the long-term development of the economy andsociety. So we should coordinate the relationship between the island andthe ecological environment as long as pursuing the economic development,this is also a pressing question we need to solve. Based on the above,this study focuses on how to implement the coordinated development betweenthe island economic development and ecological environment, this paperselected South Mountain island, Tuo Rocky island, Big Qin island, SouthHuang City island of the Chang Dao Xian as our research object, andcollected a wide range of data by various ways of further research, suchas visiting local residents, on-the-spot investigation, collectinggovernment data and so on. And then reviewing the relevant research andtheoretical knowledge, a much more suitable evaluation index model alsowas established. Through the evaluation model, the author measured andanalyzed the research object. Then found existing problems of Chang DaoXian in the process of development and put forward correspondingcountermeasures. The main logic of the research is as follows:First, the author organized the related theory, including the island,island economy, ecological system， its coordination development and other related theory and generalizes, research progress at home and abroad,which has lay the theoretical foundation of the economic and environmentalcoordinated development evaluation model. Second, the author collectedrelevant materials and data, information relates to long island, longisland town economic development and many aspects of ecologicalenvironment, which provided abundant of information and data to supportfor the following study. Third, combining with the concrete researchobject and data collection, using the analytic hierarchy process, theauthor tries to establish a more suitable evaluation index system. Thisindex system covers eight aspects, which can vividly reflect the economicdevelopment and environmental quality； they are the economic strength,economic structure, economic development, incremental, quality,atmosphere quality, water quality, ecological environment and solid waste.At last, combined with the model build in front, the author analyzed thepresent situation economic development, environmental protection andresource utilization, and took the settled survey data into the model,measured metric research results by the various index, and then, throughfurther analysis and research， the author found the existing problemsin the development of island economy, and explored solutions to existingproblems to realizes the coordinated development countermeasure of theisland economy and ecological environment.
