Longshan County, With the call to further accelerate the development of thetourism industry of Hunan Province, was listed in the province’s leading20counties.This paper, from the point of view of cultural and tourism industry, focus on how tobuild Longshan County to a national history and culture of the county, the state-levelscenic spots, world cultural heritage and the well-known tourist destination.This paper, from the angle of folklore, Tourism crossover penetration, withreference to sustainable development theory, the theory of the regional tourismdevelopment theory, tourism theory of competitive advantage, and combining surveyresearch in the field and literature research, comprehensively analyze the advantagesand the existing problems of the Longshan County tourism industry and formulateoverall development strategy, which propose implementation of the strategy to developspecific strategic actions and supporting measures in order to protect and develop thetourism resources.The paper consists of six partsThe first chapter is the introduction, which is the background, clarification of thesignificance of the topic, the research objectives, the research methods,the folk culturetourism status quo at home and abroad, and the deficiencies of the present study;The second chapter deal with related concepts and theoretical basis, the analysis ofthe mode of development of tourism resources in China’s folk culture and the role in theeconomic development, which lay a good foundation for the theory behind the empiricalanalysis;The third chapter analyzes the conditions of folk culture tourism resources inLongshan County.
