The core staff as an important strategic resource, which is great significance for theconstruction of enterprise value creation and core competitiveness, so the core employeeperformance appraisal becomes to be the research focus of the scholars at home and abroad.The research object in this paper is a typical high-tech enterprises, the problems of coreemployee performance appraisal in this company as certain representativeness, so theconclusions of this paper has a certain practical significance for the core employeeperformance appraisal improvement.In the process of research, the author firstly pointed out the significance and the researchgoal, carried on the analysis to the domestic and foreign of the core staff and the performanceevaluation theory, laid out the research ideas and methods in this thesis; defined the content ofthe core staff connotation, explained the performance appraisal theory and the characteristicsof core employee performance appraisal; introduced the principle,scope of application,appraisal cycle and assessment model of performance appraisal methods, pointed out the mainproblems existing in the company performance, mainly including ignoring the differencebetween core staff and general staff, lacking the key performance indicators of the core staff,needing improve the assessment method and feedback the result of assessment; on the basis,the author introduced the performance evaluation steps of core employee in WS company,suggested the managers clear the core employee in company by the key post evaluationmethod and the key posts of staff quality assessment, then pointed out the appraisal goal,principle, method and period of assessment in WS company core staff performance appraisal,designed the core employee performance appraisal system of R&D, marketing and themanagement class, laid out how to design the weight and the standard of performanceappraisal indicators, pointed out how to feed back and apply the results of performanceappraisal; at last, the author discussed the implementation security of the implementationperformance appraisal plan of core employees in WS company, including achieving thesupport of the leaders, carrying out the performance appraisal training, proving the core staffperformance management system and building the performance evaluation of enterpriseculture.This paper is an empirical analysis of WS company core employee’s performanceappraisal, the research results of this article can provided the theory instruction for WSCompany’s performance appraisal work; on the other hand can provided the information andreference for the other science and technology innovation enterprise core employeeperformance appraisal and motivation.
