The Land Use Chang And Sustainable Utilization Research Of Da Tong Mining Area Based On GIS

This paper used the functions of the powerful statistical analysis and spatial analysis from geographic information system through the two aspects of time and space of datong mining area from2000to2010, on the base of land use change and the distribution rule of elevation and slope analysis of the10years, explored the characteristics and regularity of land use; put forward the corresponding suggestion to the land resource utilization in the future to better protect the precious land resources of datong mining area so as to achieve the sustainable use of land resourcefin the datong mine area.The research results show that:from2000to2010,the land use types in datong mining area of grassland and woodland area increased, industrial and mining land for construction purposes and residents increased, shrub and cultivated land area decreased, the area of river waters decreased too. Industrial and urban area is mainly distributed on the gently ground at the altitude of less than1000m and the slope of less than8°.Cultivated land is mainly distributed on the ground and gentle slope at an altitude of less than1000m and the slope of less than15°. Arbor forest land, shrub land, open forest and sueshiged forest land is mainly distributed on the slow slope or the less slow slope at an altitude of above1000m and the slope from15°～25°. The grassland is mainly distributed on the gently land and slopes less than1000m. Rivers, lakes and other waters are mainly distributed on the altitude below1000m and the slope from5°～15°. The results also reflectd within all the elevations and slopes, the scope of land use change presents a certain regularity, the grassland decreased while the industrial and mining land and town land area increased below1100m. The grassland decreased while the industrial and mining land and town land area increased between1100-1300m. The cultivated land decreased while the grassland and open forest and sueshiged forest area increased between1100-1300m. The cultivated land decreased while the grassland and open forest and sueshiged forest area increased between1300-1500m. The cultivated land and shrub land decreased while the grassland and open forest and sueshiged forest area increased between1500-1700m. The cultivated land and shrub land decreased while the grassland and open forest and sueshiged forest area increased above1700m. In the lowlands, cultivated land and shrub land area decreased, while the grassland and towns and industrial and mining land increased, in the high lands of big slopes, shrub forest area decreased, arbor woodland area decreased slightly, while the grassland and sueshiged forest land increased. Finally, on the basis of land use, the measures of datong mine area land resource sustainable utilization are put forward from the types of land use structure, land resources protection and development, ecological function areas etc.
